Meet Kalyn
Kalyn Swihart is the founder and creator of Ballet Beats®, a movement method rooted in the marriage of classical ballet and fitness. A graduate of the University of Calgary and Alberta Ballet, Kalyn’s education in dance and kinesiology shaped her vision to break down the barriers of ballet and make movement accessible, joyful, and empowering for everyone. With over two decades of teaching experience, Kalyn brings her passion for dance, yoga, music, and embodied movement into every class. Her teaching invites students to connect more deeply with their bodies, challenge themselves with compassion, and discover strength, energy, and joy through movement.
Kalyn believes dance and movement are medicine, music is healing, and we are all forever students. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome, inspired, and seen.
